How do we get started?
The form below is a great start — tell me about the kit you're imagining and any references you've saved. If you'd rather talk directly, my email and phone are there too. Every build begins with a conversation before we talk pricing or timelines.
Do I need to know exactly what I want?
Not at all. Some people come with every shell size already picked out. Others simply know the sound or feeling they're chasing. We'll work through the details together.
Can you build a finish from a picture?
Absolutely. Some of my favorite ideas start with a photo someone sends me. The goal isn't necessarily to copy it exactly, but to create something that captures the same feeling while becoming uniquely yours.
Will I receive updates?
Yes. You'll receive photos and updates throughout the build so you always know where your drums are and what's happening next.
Can I customize everything?
Not everything. I've carefully chosen construction methods and hardware that reflect the Cipher philosophy and the kind of instruments I want to build. That allows me to focus on craftsmanship and consistency rather than endless option lists.
What happens if I have a problem years later?
Reach out. I want Cipher drums to be played for decades. If something needs attention, we'll figure it out together.
